I genuinely cannot remember a time in my life when I wasn&#8217;t on a diet. I have tried every diet imaginable and while I found success on some, I would immediately gain all the weight back when I stopped following them. I <a href=\"https:\/\/cronometer.com\/blog\/tracking-nutrition-without-focusing-on-calories\/\">turned off my calorie view<\/a> and would solely focus on tracking to ensure that I am meeting my daily nutrition goal. This allowed me to see how different foods, aka bagel bites vs a homemade egg and cheese bagel impacted my nutritional targets rather than just choosing the lower calorie option. I did this for 4 months and was seriously shocked by how much weight I had lost! All while being in a positive headspace!<\/p><p>I then reapproached the calorie aspect of the app and used it alongside the nutritional targets. This not only helped me reached my health goals but also kept my body nourished and my mind happy knowing I&#8217;m taking care of myself.
